I want to take a minute to express my gratitude, wonder, and awe to the Genius community. You guys rock, I look forward to spending more time on the site.
I am a veteran with experience in Intelligence Analysis, Special Operations, Airborne operations, and ROTC. I deployed to Afghanistan twice ‘07 and '08-'09. I also went to Honduras twice. All of these trips were with 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group.
While in the military I was relatively successful. My awards include Special Forces Soldier of the Year, a Meritorious Service Medal earned as an E-5, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service medal.
I found my military service to be challenging, rewarding and very destructive to myself and others. I no longer believe in wars of choice, including the current Wars on Terror and Drugs.
