Darak Figueroa, (born August 6, 2001), better known by his stage name StaySolidRocky, is an American rapper from Richmond, Virginia, born in San Antonio, Texas.

Rocky started expressing an interest in music when he moved in with his father. While in high school, Rocky began freestyling and starting using Instagram to share snippets of music he had been working on. Thanks to these snippets, he began building a fanbase on the platform.

Growing up, Rocky would listen to veteran Hip-Hop artists such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Lil Wayne. As he began to make his own music, he began listening to artists such as Kevin Gates and Kodak Black.

Rocky’s best known for hit song “Party Girl,” which went viral on video sharing platform TikTok. The song caught the attention of rapper Lil Uzi Vert, who ended up remixing the song. Since the success of “Party Girl,” Rocky got involved with Solomon Sobande, the former manager of XXXTENTACION, and shortly afterwards, he signed a record deal with Columbia Records. Then on July 17, 2020, Rocky released his debut major-label EP, titled Fallin'.

Following the release of Fallin', Rocky had continued to release a few more singles through Columbia, up until he started to release music independently again. On August 5, 2022, Rocky released his second EP, Why So Larceny?
