July 21st, 2013

In 2010, M.I released a song titled “Undisputed”, A single off MI2(His second Album). On this track, M.I describes himself as the “Undisputed Champion” of the African Hip-Hop music scene.

Now, It could be that;
On this line, M.anifest asks M.I The self acclaimed Undisputed Champion, who really the undisputed champion is?
OR

If really M.I’s the Undisputed Champion, Who’s M.anifest then?

Or

It could be that he threw a rhetorical one at the Public; Is M.I really the Undisputed Champion in Africa? So far as the African/Hip-Hop scene is concerned.

The play on words was so brilliant that M.anifest got by that on twitter

most rapper of late try to focus on the flow(the rhythmic flow of rhyming words) rather than just saying whats really on their mind. M.aniefest gives a word of advice to the up and coming which can be best interpreted in the words of Nas :“While you was writin' down my rhymes I was just tryna show you
That if you say what’s on your mind, you can stand the test of time”
