Especially these overrated rap steppin fetchers
Step n' Fetch was a staple routine in minstrel shows performed by the “Jim Crow” stock character-a brutally racist parody of an ignorant, rural black man.
Although minstrelsy is associated with white people performing in “blackface,” the first minstrel performers were free black men (horrible as the industry was, it was also the first way African-Americans got into American show business) GZA accuses 50 Cent of playing up his own ignorance to make money off white people. However, as he mentions “steppin' fetchers” (plural), he may also be saying the same of everyone on G-Unit Records.
