The winter's cold
But we was chose to rise above the darkened skies
And fight against what lied beneath
My feet are firmly on the ground
Instead of the wild KRIT now uses the winter and height metaphors. The winter’s cold is the challenges in life, but KRIT is chosen to rise above the clouds, into the sky, and away from the “cold” and then take on the challenges.
Make sure to note the wordplay on how KRIT is “above” the “cold” and has to fight what’s “beneath” (the cold). But however he’s above the skies, he’s still standing strong with his feet on the ground.
