Nigga you left my mom
Left us with no good-bye's
You left us out to dry
You left us with no letters, notes, (nothing!) no replies
No digits numbers was unlisted
You left us with some of my loneliest night
Beanie repeats what he said earlier in the song, that his father “left him out to dry”, a metaphor looking almost exactly the same as this following idiom:
Meaning “to get someone in to trouble, especially making them take the blame for a bad situation.” That’s what his father did to his family, the one who’s supply his family just disappears and makes the rest of the family take the consequences instead.
He didn’t even leave anything they could use to reach or find him, he just left Beanie sleepless nights with one of the worst feelings designed for a human being, the feeling of being left alone.
