Willy Bubba Lyrics

[Intro]
Ok class, um, please settle down now
I'd like to introduce our new student
Uhh, uh Willy Bubba, Willy is from Kentucky, uh, welcome Willy
I'll be your teacher, my name is Ms. Felmy

[Verse 1: Violent J]
Well I flopped out of school but I still hang in the hall
So there I was, you'll never guess what I saw
Maybe a chicken, I thought it was a duck
But it was a redneck fuck, so I walked up

"Hey Willy Bubba, hubba-bubba-lubba
My name's Violent J, but my homies call me chicken plucker
I been down with the clown since day one, it's day two
I guess I got some plucking to do
In these parts, we tie you to the desk
And all line up and take blows to your chest [punch]
Fists to your chin [punch], kicks to your head [punch]
Last year we killed a kid dead (HAHHH!! oh, my fault...)
Walked in the school, there's hay in the hallway
Leading to your locker, walk up 'n sock ya
Then bounce your head around the class room and act nutty"
The teacher walks in and asked everybody

[Chorus]
Who kicked Willy Bubba's ass? (I DID!)
Did you do it right here in the class? (SHO' DID!)
Did you punch him in the face, did you slap him in the mouth
Did you kick him in the forehead (YUP, YUP!)
Who kicked Willy Bubba's ass? (I DID!)
Did you do it right here in the class? (SHO' DID!)
Did you punch him in the face, did you slap him in the mouth
Did you kick him in the forehead (YUP, YUP!)
("Nice to get back with a high school crowd where you're alive")

[Verse 2: Shaggy 2 Dope]
Willy Willy Bubba hubba lubba dubba dilly
Tell me why you talk so silly, bitch
You sound like you come from the land of the bigots
Jolly old Dickens, the land of the chickens
I guess you're in season, I'm packing me a .44
Barrels to your head and blow your face out your asshole
Pow, bitch! I'm Shaggy 2 Dope
I'm coming for your kin folk, you get your chin broke
And don't cry or run to the teach
She can't understand your redneck-ass speech
If she could, she wouldn't do a thang
'Cause she's my bitch and she loves to suck my wang

You in trouble, Bubba, you better run quick
You too slow, Willy, 'cause you a fat bitch
I caught up and got my hands all bloody
Teacher walks in the class room, and asked everybody

Hold up! Check it out

[Outro]
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba
Let's play, Willy Bubba, and kill the Willy Bubba

Genius Annotation

According to the liner notes of Forgotten Freshness, Volumes 1 & 2, this song was originally recorded for Insane Clown Posse’s 1995 album Riddle Box and was later considered for their 1997 album The Great Milenko, but they decided against including the song on either of the albums. During a 2021 Patreon livestream, ICP revealed that the song was scrapped because it was too similar to “Chicken Huntin'.”

What did Insane Clown Posse say about "Willy Bubba"?
Genius Answer

ICP discussed this song during the 2021 Patreon-exclusive livestream titled “Welcome to the Jam Exam, Episode 3: Forgotten Freshness”:

Violent J: That song is the best, man.
Shaggy: Yeah, I fuckin' love it, dog. What was behind that song was, that was our attempt for “Chicken Huntin'” part two, you know what I’m saying? Because everybody loved “Chicken Huntin'” so much.
Violent J: Everybody loved dissin' rednecks so much.
Shaggy: Exactly. That was our shtick, was, you know, “Fuck rednecks.” It still is, you know what I’m saying, but I’m saying, though, we felt so strongly about it. We talked about it crazy back then. We don’t talk about it as much no more, but we used to be on that shit, you know what I’m saying. It was also due to ignorance, too, because we didn’t travel. We didn’t know, like, there were actually, like, not-racist people down south, you know what I’m saying? We just thought it was a cesspool of racism.
Violent J: Man, we were so ignorant to the ways of outside of Michigan.
Shaggy: We didn’t put it on Milenko, because we were like, it’s just too obvious tryin' to be like “Chicken Huntin',” you know what I’m sayin', but like the original “Chicken Huntin',” not like the Slaughterhouse Mix, ‘cause it’s got the fuckin’ country music in it and shit with the rap beat, you know what I’m saying, like the original “Chicken Huntin'” had.
Violent J: Even the hook is a call and response on “Willy Bubba,” you know what I’m saying?
Shaggy: I love the ending: “Let’s play Willy Bubba and kill the Willy Bubba.” That’s dope
Violent J: I love that song, too. We knew we were gonna end up using it for something in the future.
