The seventh single by MC Zuko released on April 23, 2018. Features killer bars from Metaphaurus and scratches by DJ Mars. The song was in the works since August 2017. It’s about surrounding yourself around positive people that will help you grow and stay healthy while being aware that there are negative people out there that will take your spirit away and bring you down. Do your best to pinpoint who they are and keep away from them. DJ scratches courtesy of DJ Mars.
This is the first collaboration between Metaphaurus and MC Zuko. They first appeared on Von Aizen’s “Omatsu House Cypher” and “Give In (Remix)” together as features. Metaphaurus also has the honor of making MC Zuko rewrite parts of his bars after hearing a feature for the first time.
The beat is called “PLAYBOY”, and MC Zuko plays on this by calling the song “WaAaVy” after the swagger and coolness a playboy apparently has. His Alab’s initials are “AAA”, and it was her idea to put the three A’s to show a wave in the letters of the song name.
The song was re-released in the “SoloRho Mixtape” on March 2019.
