Norris Cole has played well this post season. If Chalmers can’t control Tony Parker, Cole will be asked to step up by playing pressure defense and running the offense the way he has this post-season. If Cole can do that, Miami can lessen the disadvantage at point guard.
Kawhi is an excellent young defender who did a decent job on LeBron last Finals. He’s strong, athletic, and posses the tools needed to slow down LeBron. James meanwhile needs to realize, “I’m the best player in the world. It doesn’t matter who’s guarding me, I need to be aggressive and make plays.” Last year, Bron showed a lot of hesitation early in the series, he can’t allow that to happen again.
This may be a surprising choice as #32 in my power rankings, but the Jets are the worst team in the NFL.
The defensive line is their only positions group that is good. Michael Vick is overrated. Geno Smith didn’t show any kind of promise to make people think he can be the future. Chris Johnson is way past his prime. Eric Decker flourished because of Peyton. Their secondary is horrendous.
This team did go 8-8 last year, but Houston went from 12-4 in 2012 to 2-14 in 2013. It’s the NFL, anything can happen. I think the Jets will have their choice between Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston for the 2015 Draft.
