Kasek’s explanation is accurate. Though I used flop to describe not reaching what is expected of me (ex: ‘His album flopped!’), I can see how people could interpret it his way, too.

This part wasn’t in the original song. I felt it would make the song stronger in the end and it really raises many questions. The friend knew that the older kid counted 90, right? Maybe he wasn’t going to tell him originally but felt bad? Was the older kid going to give the friend the split of the amount that he stole? There are a lot of possibilities, really.

I have no plans to making a sequel, btw. It’d probably be whack. lol

Though this story is fictional, I thought about using my parents for this part. I ended up just doing it myself because I preferred this song being a ‘one man show’.
