(Performance artist Marina Abramović and Jay Z on set of “Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film”)

Here, as throughout the book, Jay Z has been making the case for rap as a legitimate art form, hence the recurring references to rap as poetry.

While it is true that most listeners can’t relate to Jay Z’s past as a drug dealer, it’s also true that the average person doesn’t have the same life experiences as Picasso and Van Gogh yet they can appreciate their body of work.

In a different chapter of the book the author says that he wants his audience to channel the motivation and energy they get from his tracks into acing an exam or winning an audition.

SEC’s success comes from years of dominating the post-season: they won a Championship with 4 different teams and created some of the greatest legacies in college football (See Nick Saban at Alabama). It’s not always been like that though; if we go back 8 years we find the AP discussing about a rematch between Ohio State and Michigan in the BCS Championship, which would have been an all-Big Ten game. The BCS picked Florida though, which ended up beating the Buckeyes to start a 7 years streak of wins for the SEC which was broken by FSU last year.

From 1999 to 2006 SEC and Big Ten had almost the same number of 1st round draft picks (49 to 47) but in the last few years there was a huge decline and it’s 74 to 32 now.

Let’s not forget that Michigan is the college program with the most AP Top 25 appearances in college football history. The school and the boosters probably expect Harbaugh to bring them back on top and it’s something that can surely happen if they put the right pieces together.

Green Bay has a history of killing it early, this season they average something like a 25 points lead at halftime, crazy! On top of that, you have a Dallas offense that hasn’t been exactly consistent and struggled to put up some points early in the game, reason why they were trailing 17-0 against Detroit at one point. If you add the fact that they’ll switch from an indoor stadium to Lambeau Field, you must feel confident that the Packers can bring this game home (I put 40$ on them to win it all, so you know I am haha)
