Oh hey, the habitually lying white supremacist is going to tell us about feminism. Well I’m sure this’ll be fun.

Yeah, the alarming rise of fascism as a mainstream political thought is pretty alarming and the use of the corporatist economic model is pretty damning as far as freedom’s concerned. Oh, I’m sorry you wanted to freak out about something else entirely.

If we charitably ignore the United States' constant efforts to economically undermine these economies – not to defend the Leninists, I am in fact against their ideology, just for different reasons than the author – this fails to stand on it’s own two legs. Countries which call themselves socialist are still standing, even after the fall of the USSR (to what extent this claim to socialism is legitimate is slightly subjective).

North Korea, China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and India are all still here, Greece and El Salvador have firmly and democratically elected socialist parties, and plenty of self-proclaimed socialists survived the fall. Hell, the Japanese Communist Party came out of the fall unscathed and is now the largest non-ruling communist party in the world.

Ignoring that socialism is an older school of thought than communism, what possible train of thought leads you to this? You are aware that forms of socialism besides Leninism exist, yes? Democratic socialism has been a popular position in Europe for quite some time, anti-state strains of socialist thought exist and have been enacted multiple times, and gradual reformist schools of socialist thought have been in practice since the early 1900s. It’s only in America that the idea of socialism being “dead” can possibly be viewed as even remotely realistic.

Do you have any statistics to back up the idea that Marxian or post-Keynesian economics are taught broadly in universities? Or is this just fear mongering?
