KRIT’s all about his deadstock shoes – that is, shoes that haven’t ever been worn. The shoe’s retail value increases immensely if they’ve never been worn, so KRIT not putting them on probably indicates that he intended to resell them (or, maybe he was just too proud of them….)

You can’t just go to church and be fully saved – although church attendance and worship is part of the equation. Your faith also has to extend beyond the borders of the church and touch lives for it to be fully redeemed. Otherwise, you’re no better than a love song or a fly on the wall

The man in the song sees the same girl he never met through his window daily. He imagines a relationship and how lucky he is to have her. talks bout their marriage, kids even describes their home and yard.
First line- Each day through my window I watch her as she passes by
Last line- Her love is heavenly, when her arms enfold me I hear a tender rhapsody, but in reality she doesn’t even know me
Staring out the window accomplishes nothing in either song but you might feel good while your imagination is running.
One goes to the church to confess and pray and yet the work we have to do to better ourselves is outside of the church. Staring out the window looking at the world/work/problem is meaningless and only heard in love songs are done by house flies trapped inside. Jay is suggesting that people should not only pray but go outside to seek the work they need rather than staying in their comfort zone.
