When did George Meredith start making music?

Community Answer

George Meredith's first song “An Essay on Comedy and the Uses of the Comic Spirit” released on April 1, 1877.

Once considered among the Victorian Era’s greatest writers, George Meredith (1828-1909) is now largely forgotten. He wrote poems and novels in a dense, heavily epigrammatic style, as well as an influential essay on comic theory. He was awarded the Order of Merit in 1905.
