L.O.C. was one of the rap pioneers in Morocco, they were based in Oujda, an Eastern city of Morocco borders with Algeria.
Their years of activity was from 2001 to 2008, to describe their genre and style they were more into Conscious/Gangsta/Underground rap, they were one of the early adopters of this style.
Their influencers were mostly underground and less likely mainstream rappers, and to name a few: Immortal technique, Aceyalone, Nas, Mobb deep.. and if you know you know N***A
One thing that nobody can deny is their influence and inspiration of the regional, national and even international scene, they were on of the top Artists on MySpace.com, they have been featured on British magazine called PlatforMag, an american radios but they werent getting enough exposure and attention from the local and national medias since rap was still something new in the country.
To conclude they had their shiny years even if they werent around for much time, unfortunately each of the group members took different directions in life
