been here a couple weeks…by far the worst part is having your explanations deleted without knowing which one was deleted and for what reason. It makes me not want to explain any lyrics. I explained practically the whole song Dreams and had about 10 of them deleted. Then I reposted the same explanations on a couple and had them accepted. So what’s the reason they were deleted originally? And who approved them the second time? And why?

I just posted 4 more explanations earlier today and 1 has already been deleted. All I’m saying is if you are going to delete one, let the person know what’s been deleted and why.

lol great, the link in the post above isnt even the one i was adding explanations too…so there’s 2 versions of the same song, and I spent about an hour adding pictures to a second version

@RedGoneWILD judging from the first two lines from the 2nd version, your explanations are being declined because they’re not really explanations but just literal re-wording of the lyrics. The meaning of the lyrics are obvious and therefore don’t really need an explanation.

@ZENITH I’m not sure what you mean. Please reference exactly what you are seeing, or what is being declined.

Apart from clarifying that Becks is a German beer, your explanation isn’t needed for the other lines, it’s obvious what he means. I’d just highlight the sip a Beck part and explain it’s a beer.

The rest of your explanation is just you reiterating what’s already been said.

alright, well I guess that helps some…still doesn’t help me understand what’s been deleted, how i’m supposed to know whats been deleted, or why there’s 2 versions of the same song with both being approved.

We can’t find out what’s been deleted. I can tell you if the other explanations were like that and I saw them then I’d edit them or if they don’t add anything to the other explanations then I’d delete them. But yeah, there should be a way to see who deleted what, what’s been deleted and etc. At least send an email or something. About there being two copies…I’ll check it out, which one is more complete lyric/explanation wise, I think I can delete one then

The ability to see posts you’ve made in forum somehow in your profile somewhere

What the guy above me said; search for forums, and past posts in forum would be nice. I don’t know how reasonable this is, but if there was a way you could lower just how much memory a page takes up would be huge. I don’t know if it’s just me, but if I have like 3 or 4 RG tabs open, but laptop shits itself.
