Tell me life is hard, I'll ask what the fuck do you compare it to?
Since hard is an adjective and all adjectives are used in relativity to your own experiences, he is wondering what is easy that you can compare life to—since there can be nothing more relative to you than life.
For Example, a man saying that it is cold outside in Mexico may mean it is 70 degrees out while a man in Canada saying it’s cold out may mean its 50 degrees out, thus making their ideas of cold different and cold to be a word that only has meaning relative to its speaker, along with all other adjectives.
