Having a hard time adjusting to fame
The crux of the song. Drake is apparently embracing the superficial, materialistic lifestyle of many successful musicians, partying hard, doing drugs, and getting with a lot of women.
He recognizes it as something he wants to change…while on the phone trying to convince a former booty call to cheat on her “good” boyfriend. Gives the entire song a rather nihilistic atmosphere.
Drizzy, you were a child star! It’s about time you be adjusted to the fame. You’ve only been famous your entire life!
