Rock a hoodie? You're a threat by default
So if you get shot with your hoodie on, it's already your fault
Trayvon Martin’s choice of clothing — a hooded sweatshirt, or ‘hoodie’ — has become somewhat emblematic of the event as a whole, as many viewed Zimmerman’s ‘suspicion’ of Martin stemmed from his stereotyping of young men — especially young African-American males — wearing hoodies as being criminals or troublemakers. Bless is clearly trying to demonstrate the silliness of this line of thought. In many of the protests related to the case, people defiantly wore hooded sweatshirts as a show of support for Martin.
