Biggie apologises about the way things are with his daughter, and the reference to ‘Daddy Dearest’ is because Daddy Dearest was an American television sitcom that aired on Fox, on Sunday nights from September 5, 1993 to November 7, 1993. The series revolved around Dr Steven Mitchell, a psychologist who lived in Manhattan with his young son and, despite their constant insults and put downs, his father Al, an obnoxious used car salesman who was recently separated from his wife Helen. Biggie is referring his relationship to that of Al and Dr Steven still get on.
