My god giving me pleasure
Pleasure pleasure pleasure
Pleasure over matter
He has chosen pleasure over the grey matter containing these thoughts and guilt in his brain.
Also, notice on this line the missing pronoun… In the first verse he said SHE’S giving me pleasure. There is NO gender pronoun in this one — unless “my god” is the subject “giving me pleasure.”
The pleasure is all he’s focusing on, not the MATTER, pink matter-woman. later in the song he says blue used to be my favorite color, now i have no choice. pink- women, seems like blue- men. these color associations are seen everywhere (boys' rooms are painted blue, girls like pink, the two colors are opposites). seems like the song is about his struggle with sexuality. “blue used to be my favorite color, now i ain’t got no choice” he used to prefer men, but now he has no choice, because he’s gay, not bi. just a theory
