Chance is a Rapper, this is his song hence a Rapper’s Song but he’s also singing on it.

The whole theme of 10day, he was suspended from Highschool for 10 days for “misdemeanors” also Subpoena is spanish for being penalized. And apparently he never really graduated? Not sure but he says “ass is lowkey still a senior” Which would lead you to believe he never did actually graduate due to the suspension. Or More likely he just wrote this when he was still a senior and hadn’t graduated yet.

A subpoena is a writ which requires someone to appear in court, which makes sense in this line
