[Verse 3: Tyler, The Creator]
Tyler’s verse here is completely different from the rest of the song. It’s likely done on purpose because throughout the whole album, it’s sort of played like it would be played on a radio. At the end of “Golden Girl” you the sound of the song changes. The song gets quieter like the person listening wanting to either change the station, or turn the radio off because they didn’t like how the song changed when Tyler started rapping. Then eventually you hear the song turn off.
Tyler has also had two songs of his own related to gold — the instrumental “Au79” (gold’s symbol and atomic number) and the song “Golden”, which was his “confessional” for Goblin (much as “Inglourious” is for Bastard, and “Lone” for Wolf)
