You live life on an everyday basis
Alludes to the fact that this girl lives her life as if everyday counts.
“Live not one’s life as though one had a thousand years, but live each day as the last.” — Marcus Aurelius
Essentially a YOLO reference.
Or even more appropriate to the Roman Emperor’s words and Kendrick Lamar is the Latin maxim, “carpe diem” which means “sieze the day.” While YOLO can be used to vaguely justify acts, no matter what the consequence; in essence “siezing the day” can be an encouragement to live life the best way you can. Lamar’s original statement, when looked at this way, can be more connected to the next verse poetic justice, which is a just end to your actions good or bad.
