Being an MC (master of ceremony) rather than a DJ (disc jockey), HOV is introducing himself. “Reintroducing” plays on the fact that Jay has done this before, as he is a veteran MC. Similarly, he is still in the game after his hiatus before The Black Album. Hov is one of his nicknames, short for “Jay-Hova” (a pun on “Jehovah”, the Hebrew name for God), the “God MC.”

Also a reference to his hit song (and the song that broke Kanye) “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”

One of the many references to Old School rap in the song. This one to Digital Underground’s “Humpty Dance”: “Allow me to introduce myself. My Name is Humpty”.
