(Who's your daddy?) I don't have one
Eminem’s father Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr left him and his mother Debbie Briggs-Mathers when Eminem was only 18 months old. Even though they share the same name, Marshall Bruce Mathers III (Eminem) doesn’t consider him as his dad.
Eminem has mentioned him several times in his lyrics before:
In Cleanin' Out My Closet he says:
I was a baby, maybe I was just a couple of months
My faggot father must have had his panties up in a bunch
Cause he split, I wonder if he even kissed me goodbye
No I don’t on second thought I just fuckin' wished he would die
Marshall has forgiven Kim, and even dedicates a song on this album to his mom in order to apologize for the hateful things he has said to her over the years. But he has never softened his stance on his father and still hates him as much as he ever has. Mainly because he now knows what it is like to be a father and can’t imagine leaving his kids like his dad did to him.
