I don't talk soft, that's that other guy

from Childish Gambino – Bonfire Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

CG leaves the dumb talk for these other rappers. In fact, CG doesn’t talk at all, he’s just a rapper. As a comedian, he does use soft and high-pitched voices, but that is Donald Glover.

Childish Gambino has made many mentions comparing himself to Will Smith, because the both act and rap (there is even one earlier in this song). But Will Smith was always known to never swear: when he won his Grammy he said, “I did it without cursing”. Will Smith is the other guy, and Childish Gambino is the darker Will Smith who doesn’t talk soft.

As he has already made a reference to other rapping actors, it could possibly seen as a subliminal diss towards Drake who is known for talking real soft.

UPDATE!!!
In a later interview, CG explains that the other guy in not anyone in particular. He is just referring to two sides of himself.

CG’s songs is very various, some are “soft, like “So Fly”, “Be Alone” and “These Girls”. On the other hand hand he got songs that are more aggressive (like this one).

In this interview, he is trying to make a point that people should listen to more than one song before categorize him as a “soft rapper”.
